Ottawa House by the Sea Museum

I love those clouds! and they were so perfectly positioned behind the house which we stumbled upon after taking a wrong turn on our Sunday drive last week.

Ottawa House, built c1775 on the shores of the Minas Basin near what is now Parrsboro, was acquired by Sir. Charles Tupper who was a premier of Nova Scotia and Canada's 6th Prime Minister in 1896, and named Ottawa House because of the government notables that were often entertained there. It is now a museum.

Lower Economy

The Minas Basin in the Bay of Fundy, as viewed from the community of Lower Economy, Nova Scotia. During low tide (as depicted here), the astonishing erosive effects of the 100 billion tonnes of Atlantic seawater that rushes into and out of the Bay of Fundy each day becomes obvious.
