Night 1: Ekegården, IIRC
Night 2: Västralt (where my mum, having lost her tent poles during the day, slept in the wooden hut and I slept in my tent on that there patch of blueberry shrubs)
Night 3: We both slept in the hut at Mästocka
Night 4: We pitched our tents on a beech-wooded hill above Danska Fall - my mum still had no poles, but tied her tent to a branch overhead)
My tent (grey) is "The one" from Gossamer Gear.

Pic 1: 15-May-2020. Random forest about 2 km uptrail from Vassbotten.
Pic 2: 16-May-2020. The shelter at Allemarken (section 24 - Vassbotten to Håvedalen). It had a loo. :) Didn't see any good tent spots in the immediate vicinity.
Pic 3: The unspectacular view from the Allemarken shelter.
Pic 4: 17-May-2020. The shelter at Björnerödspiggen (section 26 - Krokstrand to Högstad). This is Bohuslän's highest mountain (222 m) and Bohusleden's northernmost point. Bronze age cairn next to the shelter. Tent spots around. Generally cool place (except for the lack of loos).
Pic 5: 18-May-2020. Forest patch next to the shelter at Rogstad (section 27 - Högstad to Strömstad). No loo.
The tent is called The One (JUST LIKE MY FAVOURITE ELTON JOHN ALBUM! :D ), an ultralight thing from Gossamer Gear. This was the first year I used it. I sold my tarp because I couldn't take any more mosquitos and spiders. o_O
The water in the barrels was reportedly not suitable for drinking.

10centstudio.com/blog/2019/9/1/ultralight-backpacking-to-...
I arrived back in Wichita from my minimum annual requirement of walking in mountains yesterday. My first destination was a five night backpacking trip in the Wind River Range, with my campsite shown here near Island Lake. The Wind Rivers are spectacular and much like the Sierras in California. From there I went to the Tetons and Yellowstone, but got driven away by the smoke from 267 wildfires. Flickr friend Celeste introduced to me to wonderful hiking in the Uinta Range in northeast Utah, which is a thirteener range Utah residents seem to keep secret for themselves. After visiting some relatives, I went for a short backpack in the Needles area of Canyonlands National Park. On the way home in Colorado I bypassed the I-70 Sunday afternoon traffic by camping at Bogan Flats on a road less traveled that doesn't go to Aspen. Anyway, as usual I will save my summer vacation images to process and post during the least heat moons while I am in hibernation for the winter....
