In Ambridge, Penna., a lodge of the National Croatian Society from 1925 is law offices nowadays.

Yes the sign at the top says:
19 HRVATSKI DOM 25
SV. NIKOLA ODSJ. BR. 304 N.H.Z.

• Hrvatski dom = Croatian House.
• Sv. Nikola = Sveti Nikola = St. Nicholas
• odsj. br. 304 = [I think] odsjeka broj 304 = chapter/section/lodge number 304
• N.H.Z. = Narodna hrvatska zajednica = N.C.S./National Croatian Society

The Narodna hrvatska zajednica (National Croatian Society) was known by that name from 1897 to 1926, when it merged with three other organizations to become the Hrvatska bratska zajednica (Croatian Fraternal Union).

Sv. Nikola lodge 304 apparently continues to exist and meets at a restaurant in Pittsburgh now.

What a bunch of white paint.

Lifestyle idea for next-to-the-railroad-tracks.

If it weren't for the noise and filth of its location, why, I might like to have this cute building as my house.

This sweet pic is from September 2020 and I was flabbergasted to learn that the building looked very different as recently as August 2019. The upstairs is new and the downstairs was remodeled, but the awning was retained!

I agree with whoever decided the paintcolor that gray was a good choice for this.

"Well I had always wanted to see it gray so that's what we painted it."

The current paintjob is from sometime after October 2015. That is interesting to know!
