Vintage image of the movie marquee for the Lyric Theater on 42nd Street in the heart of Times Square In New York City. Although the marquee states that this is the First New York showing of Scarface, this is actually the First New York showing “in Times Square”. I have dated the photo 1983: which is the release date for Scarface, but this is not a first run theater so the photo is more than likely from 1984. I spent most of my high school years in the late 1960s in Times Square. This image brings back good memories. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
Give my regards to Broadway and tell them I’m on my way! Vintage image of the north end of Times Square going up Broadway. Great night life image with the theaters and advertising signs all lit up. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
Vintage image of the Fun in the Dark Fun House in Coney Island. As opposed to a Spook House, which was meant to scare you, a Fun House would have things like those trick mirrors, which were made to make you laugh. It looks like this attraction was housed on Surf Avenue. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
Spirits of Walter Heisenberg and Juan de Oñate ride the door at a marijuana dispensary on Nine Mile Hill (on the town's West Mesa border) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Location: Breaking Bud Dispensary, 8715 Central Ave NW (former Route 66/the Mother Road); 8:17am

Vintage image of the marquee for the former Naked i Strip Club in the Combat Zone in Boston, Massachusetts. One of their popular attractions were Totally Nude College Girls. In my opinion, having been to both NY City’s Times Square and the Combat Zone, Times Square was seedier, but the Combat Zone was rougher and edgier. I also must give an edge to the name Combat Zone over The Deuce. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
A brightly colored historic street scene is depicted under a soft sky, featuring the facade of the Palace Theater flanked by other quaint buildings. In the foreground, a solitary bench invites passersby to sit and enjoy the view of the quiet urban landscape.

Vintage image of the movie marquee for the Liberty Theater on 42nd Street in the heart of Times Square In New York City. Born Losers is a 1967 motorcycle gang movie which is the first film appearance of the Billy Jack character with Tom Laughlin. It is paired with Door to Door Maniac which is a 1961 film. I have dated the photo 1967 which is the release date for Born Losers, but this is not a first run theater so the photo is more than likely from 1968. I spent most of my high school years around this time in Times Square. This image brings back good memories. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
Vintage image of the Busy Bee Food Stand located on the Boardwalk in Coney Island. That is some food offering and most all the items taste good with sand. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!
