Originally delivered to Dublin Bus, Volvo Olympians operating shuttles buses by Reaney's on contract to Bus Eireann during the annual Galways Races, between Ballybrit racecouse & Galway City Centre, in superb condition.

After a long career with Dublin Bus, Wirral UK operator Happy Al's, took a number of these Olympians for local school bus services. Now enjoying a third life, back in Ireland, with Reaney's of Galway.

Bus Eireann Scania K400 Irizar i6 SE18 (12D20481) operating the express 20X between Dublin & Galway, with its extra Supermacs side & rear decals for Galway hurling.

SE 18 was destroyed by fire 5th January 2023 in Letterkenny, making it the first of it's class to be withdrawn.

The Famine memorial on Custom House Quay in Dublin's Docklands, dedicated to the million Irish people who died in the mid 19th century when the potato crop failed, those that managed, fled the country by ships, some of which moored right at this quayside.

In the distance, the bright lights of Dublin City Centre, perhaps a contrast to those terrible famine days & a country that picked itself back up again.
