I just learned now that my friend Don Briggs passed away just over a month ago on January 9. Don helped many of us photographers out with encouragement, Tips, and even photograph equipment.. He was lovely to visit with in person, quite humble and kind. I think of him as an angel on earth for the way that he shared his passion for Photography with others, and for the fact that he gave myself and others, cameras and lenses. I loved him for his dahlia garden that he took such good care of. I loved going on a walk with him and taking photos, or sharing lunch with him at a favorite restaurant in Tacoma. He also loved clouds like I do, and the mountains like Mount Rainier and Mount Adams. (This is Adams). You will be missed, my friend. R.I.P.
