The first UFO of this year is done. This is my second roll of history, the subject is linen so all the parts are taken from pillows and sheets that were used while sleeping.
Each piece is either given to me or bought at a thrift store but all from Denmark. The vintage wooden roll was bought in the Netherlands.
The length of the roll is two meters.

A simple running stitch running over a two meter long piece. It took some time but I got it done, phew .. :-))
At the thrift store last Thursday I sorted out buttons for our upcoming Grandmothers treasures sale.
Since a few weeks I'm responsible for this part of the store and I want to make a lovely display with all kinds of goodies. Special buttons are one of them!
For some time now this project is on its way. I have been collecting precious vintage handmade/embroidered textiles. Last week I was gifted 6 big pieces of handwoven linen with different patterns.
The linen is now used to make a book in which my collection will be mounted.
This is still very much a work in progress.
