Here I shot directly into the sun to get this view of San Juan looking from Castillo San Cristobal to Castillo San Felipe del Morro in the distance. I think the Pixel did a great job holding onto detail and contrast in the harsh lighting. You can see how few other tourists were around at the end of the day. The 45 minutes we had were magical. We thought we might be able to return the next day but rain took us in another direction.
Another image along with "Light at the end . . ." that demonstrates the dynamic range of the Pixel 9 Pro's raw files. The phone saves highlights automaticallly with the jpegs but I like having more control with these sorts of memorable keepers.
