The Lada 2105 is also known as VAZ-2105. It is in fact a modernized basic version of the 1970 VAZ-2101. This 2101 was a Fiat 124 built under license.
Two other variants were the 2107 luxury saloon and the 2104 estate version.

Onder de Lammermarkt in Leiden zijn 525 parkeerplaatsen in een maar liefst 22 meter diepe parkeergarage. Hoewel parkeren op zich geen doel is, is het parkeren in Parkeergarage Lammermarkt een beleving op zich. De licht afgewerkte garage blinkt uit in functionaliteit en comfort. In een spiraal rijdt de automobilist naar beneden en komt vanzelf een lege parkeerplek tegen. Deze route wordt begeleid door een tijdlijn op de voetpaden die je brengt naar de liften en het trappenhuis. Per eeuw zak of stijg je één verdieping. Belangrijke momenten in de betreffende eeuw zijn uitgebeeld op de achterwand van de garage. Deze kunstwerken zijn niet alleen prachtig verhalend maar ze dragen ook bij aan de herkenbaar-heid en oriëntatie in de garage.
Under the Lammermarkt in Leiden there are 525 parking spaces in a 22-metre deep parking garage. Although parking is not a goal in itself, parking in the Lammermarkt parking garage is an experience in itself. The lightly finished garage excels in functionality and comfort. The driver drives down in a spiral and automatically comes across an empty parking space. This route is accompanied by a timeline on the footpaths that takes you to the lifts and the stairwell. Per century you descend or ascend one floor. Important moments in the century in question are depicted on the back wall of the garage. These works of art are not only beautifully narrative, but they also contribute to the recognisability and orientation in the garage.

Saturday Self Challenge: Doorzichtig
Er zijn in Amsterdam tal van architecturele hoogtepunten maar ik kan niet stellen dat dit er één van is. Dit is de ingang van een parkeergarage in Amsterdam-Oost met beneden de garage en erboven een muur met doorzichtige bouwstenen. Erachter is waarschijnlijk de gemeenschappelijke tuin van het bijbehorende huizenblok.
Overigens is de hoofddeur naar de garage meestal gesloten, deze keer was een uitzondering.

Saturday Self Challenge: Translucent
There are plenty of architectural highlights in Amsterdam but I can't argue that this is one of them. This is the entrance to a parking garage in Amsterdam Oost, with the garage below and a wall of transparent bricks above. Behind it is probably the communal garden of the accompanying block of houses.
By the way, the main door to the garage is usually closed, this time it was an excpetion.
