This is one of the pictures my buddy Adam LaRive took when the old Red Carpet Inn burned down in 1982. At the time, it was one of the best hotels in town, and had a great restaurant. It was the place to be - till it wasn't..
Unless your only news source is Facebook or one of the old broadcast network news organizations, we found out yesterday that there are recordings of the Bidens hard-ball negotiating the deal they made with the President of Burisma, the energy giant in Ukraine. They probably thought they were putting Burisma over the barrel by countering Burisma's offer of $50,000 with something like "more like 5 million.. pal..".
The frightening part is that the FBI redacted the reference to the recordings in the 1023 form that accuses the Bidens of bribery and money laundering. They tried to hide it from Members of Congress, and not because it "jeopardizes sources and methods".. Not because it jeopardizes National Security.. They did it to protect Joe Biden and his rotten family - and to protect us all from President Trump. But the informant who wrote the 1023 knew what had been redacted and somehow he made known what the FBI was hiding.
They are burning down the house at the FBI. They're exposing the level to which they are willing to go to protect the corruption at the highest levels of our government - including election interference. So, is *anything* off the table? Is there any reason now to believe the voting machines weren't fixed in the last election? Still believe Joe Biden got 13 million more votes than Barack Obama on his *best day*?
How about the fact that we don't know how many FBI agents were in the crowd agitating and urging them into violence on January 6th, or how deep their involvement went? Or how much they coordinated in advance with Nancy Pelosi and the Capitol Police, because there was something very "off" about the way they reacted.. or didn't react.
There's something very rotten in Denmark, and it ain't the fish.

One notable thing I have noticed about former L+K Motels is how the first level rooms open to the outside of the building and second level rooms open to the inside of the building.
This motel and restaurant complex was built in 1972 as L+K Motel and Restaurant. The restaurant has been long closed and the motel has changed from L+K to Knights Inn to Red Carpet Inn over the years.

Another interesting thing about old L+K motels is how the offices were set up so that people could pull up to the office window to check in (similar to a bank) then drive to their room.

This complex is largely still intact from L+K, but the restaurant and motel buildings did get new siding at some point. The building in front is the old restaurant.
