The sun rising over a fisherman in Kingscliff, NSW on Good Friday made for a relaxing start to my day.
Re-worked - Northam Burrows, Devon, shot 5 years ago on my old iphone.
Net fishermen haul their nets on the island of Mannar in Sri Lanka.
Egrets line the slightly submerged net tops waiting for the fish to surface and thus have some easy pickings.
The fishermen always set aside some of their catch for the wildlife, i guess its the Buddhist way.

An already beautiful sunset in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) was enriched by a Burchell's zebra (Equus quagga burchellii).

The sun dips over the horizon at the close of this August day. To the right of the sun the two cooling towers of the Byron nuclear power plant can be seen roughly 22 miles distant. August 10, 2024.
Looking west in the direction of Creston the horizon features another cluster of grain bins along Illinois Highway 38.
