Really pleased with how well each of the colours printed. My fave is the orange - the dots remind me of toffee-apples. Others prefer the avocado...
A design for the budget-minded gift-giver who wants to give a lot of tea towels and is prepared to cut & hem (or zig zag) to finish them. Many of my friends get no choice about these gifts...

Fun things to do with fabric: Make tea towel calendars (this is my actual for this year: 'Engaged, tea towel calendar by Su_G'), next to the fabric deer head with antlers from Steiff (last of a run from their factory outlet - a great place for bargains if you're there in person).
The Steiff Museum is well worth a visit, especially for anyone interested in making soft toys. It documents both the production processes and the amazing story of a female entrepreneur:

Yes it's that time of year again: the two for one, Fat Quarter sale at Spoonflower, traditionally used to snap up calendar tea towels. This is the best way to buy Fat Quarters, which do feel ludicrously expensive otherwise.
As to the concept of calendar tea towels: I give them as gifts to my nearest & dearest, and those who helpfully suggested styles or subjects for designs during the year.
