Saturday 17tth August 2019 was the last day of East Midlands Trains on the Midland Mainline, with the contract going to Abellio the next day. Here we see 222011 passing Kangaroo Spinney with 1M24 St.Pancras-Corby. I had been hoping for some HST action, but all of those, and most other Meridians, all passed under clouds, many of them very cruely indeed!
After conducting some business locally, it was off to the line before heading home. As the clouds cleared, a southbound HST fronted by 43048 passes Harrowden Junction. 4th September 2012
