37421 heads south from Wellingborough, working 3Z04 10.14 Derby RTC - Hither Green, a transit move for a Network Rail Infrastructure Monitoring service. The location is Irthlingborough Road ("Kangaroo Spinney").
I think 37421 had not long joined the Colas fleet and gained its "orange and lemon" colour scheme.

60059 Swinden Dalesman heads north past Irthlingborough Road ("Kangaroo Spinney") at Wellingborough, working 6E38 Colnbrook Oil Terminal - Lindsey Oil Refinery aviation fuel empties.
This working was taken over by Colas in February 2015, but ceased completely in late 2018.
On the 23rd of February 2015, 43066 heads a northbound East Midlands Trains service at Kangaroo Spinney, Wellingborough.

On their last day of operating the services, East Midlands Trains 222013 passes Kangaroo Spinney as it works 1B46 13:12 Nottingham-St.Pancras. This was the only other shot I managed in sun during this particular session. This is a shot I have done many times over the years, but possibly the first time for many years, as I think it is the first time I have shot this livery here! One thing for sure, it is probably the last, although never say never!

Saturday 17tth August 2019 was the last day of East Midlands Trains on the Midland Mainline, with the contract going to Abellio the next day. Here we see 222011 passing Kangaroo Spinney with 1M24 St.Pancras-Corby. I had been hoping for some HST action, but all of those, and most other Meridians, all passed under clouds, many of them very cruely indeed!
