Catkins, also known as willow catkins, are the inflorescences of willows and other trees that resemble fluffy balls. They are one of the first signs of spring in nature.
Am Allmendingenbächli beim Haslimoos blühen die Weiden. Die Weidenkätzchen leuchten hell vor dem noch blattlosen, dunklen Unterholz.
The willows are in bloom along the Allmendingenbächli stream near Haslimoos. The willow catkins shine brightly against the still leafless, dark undergrowth.
