On riparian now partly snapped Willow by a threatened site in Strathspey, Scotland. (present on this tree now for several seasons including before breakage of the willow in late 2024 or early 2025)

My only remaining cutting done in March 2023.
This has the sawfly gall included however the gall had degraded
ending its curious visual ascetic's but its another cutting success
which is all I care about.
In the back is one of my nicer shaped crabapple sucker growth which also enjoys the 2025 summer.
Lot of these are included in the two year plan allowed to grow out . Today a needed spring weeding gives for a good photo op.
Within walking distance from our home grows this magnificent weeping willow. Yesterday I tried to highlight this tree at nightfall by using selective lighting. - Potsdam, Brandenburg 2025. - Project: "Night Walks", Series: "Topography of my Neighborhood".

I love these exuberant flowers that appear before the leaves unfurl on the Willow trees, like so many starbursts.
