A “piebald peacock” refers to any peacock with a leucistic mutation that results in patches of white plumage. If the peacock has all-white plumage but still has color in its eyes and bare parts, it is fully leucistic; true albinos that lack melanin throughout their entire bodies are much rarer. While a relatively rare mutation in the wild, piebald patterns are commonly bred in domestic peafowl.

A few weeks ago I was sent an email by someone asking me if I’d like to do an interview for their YouTube channel. As a virtually unknown artist, I usually will jump at any chance to share my art and opinions with a potential new audience. So I agreed. He told me about how he basically grew up with my music, and had been praising me to friends for years. Someone uploaded my first album to a file sharing website he had frequented, and that’s where he first discovered me. I don’t even care that my music was pirated. I’m just happy to know people cared. I did the interview a couple weeks ago, and Luke, the man behind the videos, just sent me the finished link. I’m almost through watching it now, and I can’t believe how much work and thought he put into it. It’s probably the most flattering thing I’ve seen anyone do concerning my music or art. He basically does an entire retrospective on my first album and art. It’s really heartwarming to see. He worked hard on this. Digging through my channel and website, pulling videos and clips of me, playing music, doing silly Coca Cola taste tests…videos I forgot I even made of myself. It really is something else.
