Il a perdu ses ailes depuis les années 1970., mais a conservé son toit conique et sa guivre (levier d'orientation).

Moulin à vent tour datant de 1856, il aurait cessé son activité en 1928, mais il avait encore ses ailes sur une carte postale de 1936.

ENG: Last weekend was an excursion day again for a long time. This time we went to the surrounding countryside, to the small town of Werder with its wonderful little island. It is not far from the state capital Potsdam in Brandenburg and directly on the Havel river. The weather was not very warm at 4 °C, but we had peace and quiet and very few people around us.
The trestle windmill is part of the historic silhouette of the island and reminds us of times when there were several of them here. Mills were allowed to be built in the town of Werder as early as 1500. The last of the three windmills on the island was still in operation until 1949 and ensured that the people of Werder could have their little grain ground during the famine years after the war. At the end of 1973, there was a fire and the windmill was irretrievably lost. But the inhabitants of the island were not deterred and built a new one of equal value. The windmill was reopened and turned its blades again in 1993 for the May festival.

GER: Am letzten Wochenende war seit langem mal wieder ein Ausflugstag. Diesmal ging es ins Umland und zwar zu der kleinen Stadt Werder mit seiner wundervollen kleinen Insel. Diese liegt unweit der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam in Brandenburg und direkt an der Havel. Das Wetter war mit 4 °C jetzt nicht gerade sehr warm, aber dafür hatten wir unsere Ruhe und sehr wenig Menschen um uns herum.
Die Bockwindmühle gehört zur historischen Inselsilhouette und erinnert an Zeiten, als es hier mehrere davon gab. Schon seit 1500 durften in der Stadt Werder Mühlen errichtet werden. Die letzte von ehemals drei Bockwindmühlen allein auf der Insel war noch bis 1949 in Betrieb, sorgte dafür, dass die Werderaner in den Hungerjahren nach dem Krieg ihr weniges Korn mahlen lassen konnten. Am Ende des Jahres 1973 gab es ein Brand und die Windmühle war unwiederbringlich verloren. Aber die Einwohner der Insel ließen sich nicht beirren und erbauten sich eine gleichwertige neue. Diese drehte dann zur Wiedereröffnung ihre Windblätter im Jahre 1993 zum Maifest erneut.
For Sliders Sunday
In these troubled times the little pleasures in life become more important than ever. So on this Sunday, I thought I'd treat you to some candyfloss from the giant candyfloss-maker. We shouldn't eat too much sugar, I know, but I guess it's OK for oncein a while ;-) This is also meant as a goodbye to summer (or hello to spring, depending on where you live on this giant water ball called Earth).
Taken in July 2019 during a photowalk with Flickr friends. This is a wind wheel that stands outside of the German Museum of Technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum). For Sliders Sunday I fluffified the lovely cotton-wool clouds we were so lucky to have on that day by adding some glow ("Radiance Glow", tweaked to my liking), Texture (Paper: Clean Edge), Sunshine, and, finally, tweaked the Colour Balance for a sunshiny, ice-creamy summer look. The entire sliding was done in ON1 Photo RAW 2020 with the idea of "more is more" in mind. Well, sometimes it is, isn't it?

Zuckerwatte für alle!
Hergestellt vom großen Schaumschläger, der vor dem Deutschen Technikmuseum steht ;-) Kleiner Sonntags-Slide eines Fotos vom Juli 2019, aufgenommen bei einem Spaziergang mit Flickr-Freunden. Nach dem Ende der (in diesem Jahr eher unerwarteten) Hitzewelle im August sind wir ja mehr oder weniger direkt in den Herbst hineingerutscht. Daher ist dieses Bild auch als ein "Auf Wiedersehen, Sommer 2020!" gedacht, weshalb ich, mit dem Gedanken "Mehr ist mehr!" (manchmal stimmt das ja auch) hier ordentlich in der Nachbearbeitungskiste gewühlt habe, um einen bunt-sommerlich-sonnigen, eiscremigen Look zu erzielen. Die hübschen kleinen Wattewolken, die wir an diesem Tag glücklicherweise hatten, habe ich für ein weicheres, wattigeres Aussehen mit einem Glow-Filter versehen (deshalb auch Watte- und nicht Schäfchenwolken, denn Schafwolle kann auch manchmal ganz schön kratzen), eine dezente Textur (Papier: Clean Edge) und etwas extra Sonnenschein hinzugefügt und die Farbbalance verbessert. Das alles in ON1 Photo RAW. Ich hoffe, der Sommer-Abschiedsgruß schmeckt Euch, auch wenn wir natürlich nicht so viel Zucker essen sollen, aber gelegentlich darf man auch da mal zugreifen ;-)

Moulin Saint-Jacques.
Construit au début du XIXe siècle, le moulin fonctionna jusqu'au début du XXe siècle. La commune l'a racheté en 1985, puis restauré en 1994.
Le moulin Saint-Jacques est un moulin cavier de type angevin, il comprend quatre grandes parties :
- Les ailes.
- La "hucherolles" (La cabine en bois).
- Le "massereau" (La masse conique).
- La "masse" (la plateforme supérieure de la masse permettait à un âne attaché à un timon de circuler pour orienter la hucherolle selon le vent).
Le moulin à vent serait d'abord apparu en Orient. Les plus anciens moulins attestés se trouvent dans le bassin du Sistan, (région aride au sud-est de l'Iran et au sud-ouest de l’Afghanistan).
Le moulin à vent se généralise en Europe à partir du Xe siècle. Il aurait été importé d'Afrique du Nord, d'abord en Sicile, puis en Normandie et en Anjou.

Guilly (Loiret)
Moulin de Bel-Air.
Il s'agit d'un moulin à vent à pivot provenant de Château-Neuf-sur-Loire et qui a été remonté en 1987 au lieu-dit la Tuilerie, dans le hameau de Bouteille.
L'existence du moulin d'origine est attestée au début du XVIIIe siècle mais il date probablement de la première moitié du XVIIe.

Saint-Georges-des-Sept-Voies, commune déléguée de Gennes-Val-de-Loire.

En bout de la rue du Moulin-à-Vent, la ruine d'un moulin-tour, dit "le Moulin Neuf".
Le moulin est mentionné sur les cartes d'Etat-Major du XIXe siècle, il est décrit comme ruiné sur les cartes des années 50.
