Glass roof over the large layout taking up the old yard in the middle of the building. / Üvegezett tető a hatalmas terepasztal felett, ami a régi épület teljes belső udvarát elfoglalja.
MINIVERSUM, Budapest. I visited the model layout with my two youngest kids in October 2015. / Miniversum modell-terepasztal Budapesten az Andrássy úton. 2015. októberében jártam itt a két kisebb fiammal.
Miniversum is a gigantic, beautifully detailed and decorated model railroad layout featuring many landmarks from Budapest and Hungary – and a bit of Austria and Germany – scaled to 1:100 of original size. The Miniversum story started in August 2012 on the initiative of Attila Kocsis, who started to develop the concept of the exhibition and the business plan at this time. In Autumn 2012, a considerable investor was interested in our project and in 2013 a small group was formed that started to work on the construction. By May 2013, the technical and implementation plans for the Krausz castle on Andrássy street had been finished. Before the construction of the facilities, renovations had to be made to the building. They took over part of the Krausz castle in August 2013 and immediately started to create the layouts for the Austrian and German compositions. The Austrian and German layouts were a long way ahead of the Hungarian one: they constructed the frames for the layouts, laid down the rails, wired the electrics here first to create a rough landscape. At the beginning of December, a new phase of the construction began, where final elements, scenery and themes were created on the layout. Final landscaping lasted until the end of April 2014. During the construction 40 scale models arrived from a variety of modelers. Examples from Budapest are: Vajdahunyad castle, Heroes’ square, and Western railway station. The 9 months of construction saw several changes in the team: at the height of the project there were as many as 30 people taking part in the building process, half of them working at the venue and the other half at home.

A Bobov Dol-i széntüzelésű hőerőmű az autóból fényképezve Bulgáriában. 2015. augusztusában tett balkáni autós körutazásunk nyolcadik napján készítettem ezeket a képeket az autóból, amint a macedón-bolgár határtól a rilai kolostorhoz vezettünk a családdal.
St. Michael's Church in the old town of Kotor. A small square with view on the ancient walls stretching for 4.5 km (3 mi) directly above the city. / A régi várfalak látszanak a kis tér felett, ezek 4,5 kilométer hosszan húzódnak fenn a hegyoldalban a város felett.
Kotor, a nice coastal town in Montenegro, located in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old Mediterranean port is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. Together with the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovćen, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive and picturesque Mediterranean landscape. In recent years, Kotor has seen a steady increase in tourists, many of them coming by cruise ship. Visitors are attracted both by the natural beauty of the Gulf of Kotor and by the old town of Kotor. Kotor is a World Heritage Site. We visited the city in August 2015 during our family's Balkan road trip.
Kotor városa a magas hegyekkel övezett Kotori-öbölben - a gyönyörű természeti környezet mellett a még a velencei időkből származó fallal körülvett óvárosa is vonzza a turistákat - a képeket 2015. augusztusában készítettem, amikor a családi balkáni kirándulásunk harmadik napján látogattunk el ide és tettünk egy nagy sétát az óvárosban.

Sliding down on a cable above the falls at Cascada Vălul Miresei in the Bihor Mountains. / Kalandpark, lecsúszással a havasrekettyei vízesés felett.
Răchițele - pictures taken during our hiking trip in the Bihor Mountain valley up from the village in Cluj county, Romania. We spent three days in the area and made day trip each day, this time to the famous falls in the Bihor Mountains, in the mountains. Family vacation in Transylvania with our extended family in July 2015.
Havasrekettye, képek az erdei túránk során a vízeséshez és tovább a hegyen felfelé, erdélyi családi nyaralásunk harmadik napján. 2015. júliusában töltöttünk a környéken négy napot szélesebb családi körben, minden nap máshova kirándulva (minden évben igyekszünk szüleinkkel és gyermekeinkkel közös nyaralást szervezni).
Saving deers and other wildlife stock during a flood in the 70's near Gyula, Hungary. My grandfather's photographs from the 70's, scanned from diapositive recently.
A vadállomány mentése a Kőrösök egyik áradása során Gyula környékén a 70-es években - Nagyapám régi felvételei, amiket most szkenneltem be diapozitívról.
Sliding down over the Maros river to the other side (which is officially Romania) on a wire in an adventure park at Mako, Hungary, in August 2014. We visited the park with my friends who stay with us every summer for a few days.
Siklás a Maros felett a túloldalra (ami már román terület!) és vissza a makói Marosi Kalandpartban. 2014. augusztus 20-án látogattunk el ide Hajdúékkal. 40kg és 140cm alatt csak tandem lehetett siklani.
