It's that time of year again...
I had the incredible opportunity to observe Turkey Vultures (Cathartes aura) in their nest at the Gateway National Recreation Area. These majestic birds, often misunderstood, play a vital role in our ecosystem as scavengers. Their impressive wingspan and unique silhouette make them a fascinating subject for any nature enthusiast.
