I had been travelling with my wife for a week, visiting various places in Spain, and trains remained in the background. She is completely indifferent to our hobby and there is no point in forcing things, spoiling the atmosphere of a holiday that was already turning out to be idyllic. But when I got to Sahagún, my grandparents' village, I had the idea of spending five or ten minutes at a point where I had never been lucky before and where all my attempts to get a decent photo had been unsuccessful. She agreed, clinging to the fact that the stop was going to be short and took advantage of it to stretch her legs. The panorama looked terrible because the sky was completely cloudy, but after a few minutes I heard the whistle of a locomotive and this steel freight appeared in front of my camera at the only moment when the sun appeared. Unusual luck has accompanied this stoic train photographer who could only complain about the graffiti on the 251 series locomotive, although, of course, it has been thoroughly cleaned.

It is generally accepted that Mudéjar art in architecture first appeared in the town of Sahagún in the 12th century. For the construction of buildings in Mudéjar style it was very common to use inexpensive materials like brick, wood, and stucco.
