Noch ist die Welt in Blumenberg in Ordnung. So hält der Harz-Elbe-Express (HEX) von Montag bis Freitag i.d.R. stündlich und am Wochenende alle zwei Stunden. Und auch sonst ist der Bahnhof erstaunlicherweise noch im vergleichsweise gut erhaltenem altertümlichen Zustand. Ab dem nächstem Fahrplanwechsel im Dezember 2018 ist es damit allerdings vorbei. Zum einen übernimmt Abellio mit Lint 41 und zum anderen verliert der Bahnhof Blumenberg nach 176 Jahren Personenverkehr seine Funktion als Verkehrshalt, da sich der Besteller - die NASA - dazu entschlossen hat, dass dieser Bahnhof mitten im Nichts nicht sinnvoll zu betreiben ist. Auf dem Bild zusehen ist 640 122 als 80483 Oschersleben - Magdeburg-Buckau.
The world in Blumenberg is still in order. The Harz-Elbe-Express (HEX) usually stops every hour from Monday to Friday and every two hours on weekends. And also otherwise the station is surprisingly still in comparatively well preserved ancient condition. But that will be over by the next timetable change in December 2018. On the one hand Abellio takes over with Lint 41 and on the other hand the station Blumenberg loses its function as a traffic stop after 176 years of passenger traffic, because the customer - the NASA - has decided that this station in the middle of nowhere cannot be operated sensibly.
