Pacific National loco 8120, 8209, 8126 and 8158 heading to Port Kembla on train 1921 from Clyde.
8120 is the second of a few 81 class locomotives with the numbers painted under the cab side window. It also seems to be missing the number normally painted on the side.

GM 8209 waits to depart Pearse Loop with the 1610hrs RPSI Santa spl after taking over from 461. This was the first passenger working by the loco since its overhaul.

8209 "River Foyle" waits to enter the loop at Pearse to couple up to the RPSI Craven set. The GM will take over from steam loco No. 461 to form the 16.10hrs Santa spl to Maynooth. This was the first passenger working by the loco since its overhaul.

8209, 8220, 8224 and 8230 lead 9839, a Pacific National Bomaderry to Bogan Gate empty grain train.
This lashup resembles the once common sight of western coal trains led by quad 82s approximately 15 years ago.
While Pacific National grain trains have been a common scene in Central West NSW, upcoming changes to the Manildra Group rail contract may consign this scene to history. From 1 November 2024, Southern Shorthaul Railroad will take over the operation of Manildra Group grain services from Pacific National. The new operating model will utilise locomotives and rollingstock owned by Manildra Group. Pacific National will continue to operate Graincorp trains in NSW and Victoria.

8209 River Foyle waiting to depart with the 1000hrs Enterprise service to Belfast; the Belmond Grand Hibernian on platform 4 with the Dundalk - Waterford working (080 providing the traction from Dublin to Waterford).
