40085 travels light engine along the Warrington Arpley low level line en-route to Arpley Yard. Warrington Bank quay and Warrington Arpley was a regular stomping ground for me in the eighties as it was a Mecca for class 40s. Great days. Notice the classic cars in the background, Morris Minor "Woody", an Audi (in Brown...NICE!), a Nissan Laurel (I think!) , a Ford Capri and a Vauxhall Viva estate. All classics but nowhere near as reliable and long lived as a class 40!
