Behold, another recently remodeled (or just "refreshed"!??) Taco Bell

As happens far too often, I've strayed off course a bit from my Taco Bell Tuesdays as of late, but once I saw this one while out of town during the July 4th weekend, I knew I had to get some photos of it (such as they are, and this one is pretty rough) :P And I also had to make room for photos of this Bell in what was going to be an album limited to DeSoto County locations. This my friends is the Corinth MS Taco Bell, decked out in the latest color scheme and signage, but (very sweetly) retaining all it's other early-2000's exterior traits!

While I couldn't find any evidence to support my theory/failing memory (the Assesor's site for Alcorn County crapped out on me, as usual :P), I believe the structure pictured here is a rebuild (or exterme remodel and expansion) of a mission-style Taco Bell that was once at this same location.

Whatever the history of Taco Bell at this spot, up until not too long ago (late 2018, 2019, maybe even early-mid 2020 -- heck, just cover all may bases!) this building had the color scheme, old bell logos, fonts, etc. of an early-mid 2000's build Taco Bell. But that look could very likely have been a remodel/refresh of the building's original late 90's, or very (very!) early 2000's box-style. This is yet another case of "wish I had paid more attention", since I don't remember for sure. (In my defense, I only happen by this particular Taco Bell 2-3 times a year max., and due to the pandemic, this was my first time by here in several months).

Even better front view (and, oops, they missed a spot)

Unfortunately, this was the only other decent photo I was able to get of the recently updated Corinth MS Taco Bell, and this was a very lucky drive-by capture. While I still think the recent Southaven Church Rd, Bell remodel wasn't bad, I **really** wish it had turned out more like this, with only a new exterior paint job and signage! And if you look close enough at the front upper bell sign here, a small part of the older color scheme remains to the right of said sign. Heck, this might even suggest that the refresh was completed, or almost completed, just days (or hours) before my visit to Corinth, and final touch up hadn't taken place yet!

In the past I've moaned about all the purple on some Taco Bells, namely the 2010's versions. But in this latest style I think it looks pretty nice, even if it is a slightly louder shade of purple. And while I've never even been in this Taco Bell, who knows: at some point I might go in and get some photos. In the meantime, thanks for viewing my very short segment of 3 Corinth Taco Bell photos :P

On Tuesday, January 5, 2016, I took Photographs of the Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus (aka: Feld Entertainment) Parade as they left from Tampa Union Station and headed for Amalie Arena (aka: Home of the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Team).

Bonnie Feld rode atop lead Elephant Karen, as she marched down Nuccio Parkway and Cass Street before turning left onto Morgan Street toward Amalie Arena. I took theses six photos from the sidewalk along Cass Street.

This picture of the CSX Railroad Bridge over the Hillsborough River was taken at night from the Tampa River Walk . When the Republican National Convention was held in Tampa in August 2012, accent lighting was added to all of the Hillsborough River Bridges for the convention and continues to be utilized today.
