Decided to finally unearth this series of photos from the Dak Dillon and MPT Photography CNJ 113 photo session. I made the rookie mistake to put my faith into a high ISO setting. As you can see in the fine details, I've made a grave error.
However, enough was able to be saved after being cleaned and edited to present the hosts of the photo session, Dak Dillon, right, and Mark, left. Together this powerhouse tag team led a very underwhelming session into possibly the most enjoyable little night session ever.
A late night photo session at the Minersville Station in Minersville, Pennsylvania, brought the tiny, but massive, CNJ 0-6-0 Switcher 113 to life. Locked to its siding, as the engine did not have permission to be on the Minersville branch, Dak and Mark worked with the engine crew to get as much out as possible, seen here the engine has backed as far as it can go. Steam exhausting from its cylinders and safety valves before it begins a slow and minimal movement towards the station.
