Freitagabends ist "leider" nicht wirklich viel Verkehr in Heidelberg und so habe ich dieses Bild aus 5 Einzelaufnahmen zusammengesetzt.
Ist ne kleine Übung, genauso wie meine Street-Fotografie-Experimente, für eine größere eher urbane Reise demnächst 😉.

Wenn ich etwas mache, dann versuche ich es stets möglichst perfekt hinzubekommen. So, Streetfotografie ist neu für mich, also muss ich mich zunächst den fotgrafischen Herausforderungen stellen, Licht, Kontrast, Perspektive, Komposition. Das ist alles anders, als bei der Landschaftsfotografie.
Was aber nun noch in EU und vor allem in Deutschland hinzukommt, das sind die rechtlichen Grundlagen für diese Art der Fotografie. DSGVO, Recht am eigenen Bild, Panoramafreiheit, Kunsturhebergesetzt, Fotografieren für private Zwecke vs. zur Veröffentlichung, und wenn Veröffentlichung dann allgemein oder nur für ein bestimmtes Publikum, mir schwirrt schon der Kopf...
Entscheidend ist wohl, dass eine Person für die Allgemeinheit, auch Freunde und Bekannt nicht erkennbar sein darf (Verwandte zählen hierbei tatsächlich nicht). So, nun habe ich was gemacht, was ich sonst nie tun würde: Ich habe das komplette Gesicht der Dame ausgetauscht, der Gesichtsausdruck ist dem Original recht ähnlich, aber es ist irgendwie ein anderer Mensch. Ja, und da sie auch aufgrund der Bekleidung (ist mit Sicherheit normale Bekleidung, keine selbstgenähten Unikate oder teurer Designerfummel) nicht erkennbar ist, vermute ich, geht dieses Bild soweit in Ordnung. Oder haben wir hier ggf. einen Anwalt unter uns, der das ein wenig anders sieht ? Ich lasse mich sehr gerne eines Besseren belehren 😊.

When I do something, I always try to get it as perfect as possible. So, street photography is new to me, so I first have to face the photographic challenges, light, contrast, perspective, composition. It's all different from landscape photography.
But what's added to that in the EU and especially in Germany are the legal bases for this type of photography. GDPR, right to one's own image, freedom of panorama, art copyright law, taking photos for private purposes vs. for publication, and if published then generally or only for a specific audience, my head is already spinning...
The decisive factor is that a person must not be recognizable to the general public, including friends and acquaintances (relatives actually don't count here). So, now I've done something that I would never do otherwise: I've replaced the lady's entire face, the facial expression is quite similar to the original, but it's somehow a different person. Yes, and since she is not recognizable due to her clothing (it is definitely normal clothing, not homemade one-offs or expensive designer items), I assume this picture is OK. Or do we have a lawyer among us who sees things a little differently? I'm happy to be proven wrong 😊.

Deutschland ist nicht gerade reich an Wolkenkratzern. Unsere Städte haben oft eine charakteristische Skyline, aber meist ist diese gar nicht so anders als vor 1.000 Jahren. Frankfurt stellt die große Ausnahme dar. Hier stehen die höchsten Häuser des Landes und weil hier eben auch der Fluss Main vorbeifließt, nennt man das deutsche Manhatten auch Mainhattan 😉 .
Hab das Bild ausnahmsweise in voller Größe gepostet. 45,7 MPix sind, wie soll ich sagen, schon ziemlich geil 😁.

Germany is not exactly rich in skyscrapers. Our cities often have a characteristic skyline, but all too often it is not that different from what it was 1,000 years ago. Frankfurt is the great exception. The tallest buildings in the country are here and because the river Main flows past here, German Manhattan is also called "Mainhattan" 😉 .

Nur gut 10 min von meinem Haus entfernt befindet sich die Hinterburg. Erbaut um 1.100 ist sie einer der 4 Burgen hier bei uns im Ort. Von hier aus hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf unsere kleine Stadt, die Neckarschleife und auf Dilsberg.

The Hinterburg Castle is just 10 minutes from my house. Built around 1.100 AD, it is one of the four castles in our town. From here you have a very beautiful view of our small town, the Neckar loop and Dilsberg.

Eigentlich wollte ich einen letzten Sonnenuntergang oben auf dem Fjellheisen Berggipfel hoch über Tromsø erleben, aber das Wetter verschlechtert sich zunehmends. Also, Plan B, erst einmal zurück in die Unterkunft, Fotorucksack umpacken und dann, zu Fuß die 3 km bis in die City von Tromsø laufen. Ein paar schöne urbane Nachtaufnahmen am Ende meiner Reise, das ist vielleicht auch keine schlechte Idee 😁.

I actually wanted to experience one last sunset on top of the Fjellheisen mountain peak high above Tromsø, but the weather is getting worse. So, plan B: first go back to the accommodation, repack my camera backpack and then walk the 3 km to the city of Tromsø. A few nice urban night shots at the end of my trip might not be a bad idea either 😁.

Windig ist es im rauen Norden Norwegens eigentlich immer. An manchen Tagen fiel sogar das Gehen schwer, an einem Tag hat mich der Wind umgeworfen, an einem anderen meinen Fotorucksack 1 m in Richtung Abgrund befördert. Dass dies so ist, wusste ich. Aus diesem Grund wollte ich mein robustes Stativ "iFootage Gazelle TC" mitnehmen, aber 22 kg Gepäck für eine Foto-Wander-Camping-Reise in den Hohen Norden, da muss man Kompromisse machen. Und so hat mich mein "Manfrotto 732CY Carbon-Basalt" mit dem kleinen Kugelkopf begleitet, mit Kugelkopf und Schnellwechsel-Platte nur 1.200 Gramm schwer. Ja, es ist nicht ganz so stabil wie das große Stativ, es ist in den Funktionen etwas eingeschränkt und es ist kleiner, aber ich bin auf meiner Reise wieder mal erstaunlich gut damit zurechtgekommen 😊.

It's always windy in the rough north of Norway. On some days it was even difficult to walk, one day the wind knocked me over, another day it carried my camera backpack 1m towards the abyss. I knew that this was the case. For this reason I wanted to take my robust "iFootage Gazelle TC" tripod with me, but 22 kg of luggage for a photo-hiking-camping trip to the far north means you have to make compromises. And so my "Manfrotto 732CY Carbon-Basalt" with the small ball head accompanied me, weighing just 1,200 grams with the ball head and quick-change plate. Yes, it's not quite as stable as the big tripod, it's somewhat limited in its functions and it's smaller, but I managed surprisingly well with it on my trip 😊.

Die Trolle haben sich getrollt, ich hab wieder Kontrolle über den Berg 😁 .
Nein, waren ja gar keine Trolle. Martin hatte Recht, es waren Schneehühner. Am Tag sind sie aufgrund ihrer perfekten Tarnung kaum zu erkennen und ihre Geräusche des nachts, ja, die kennt wirklich kaum ein Mensch. Kein Wunder, dass vielleicht durch solch seltsame nächtliche Tiergeräusche so etwas wie der Troll-Mythos entstehen konnte.

No, they weren't trolls at all. Martin was right, they were Ptarmigans. During the day they are almost impossible to spot due to their perfect camouflage and the noises they make at night, well, hardly anyone knows them. No wonder that perhaps such strange nocturnal animal noises could give rise to something like the troll myth.

Am Himmel funkeln die Sterne, auf dem Fjord funkeln die Lichter der Aqua-Kulturen, schön, aber den Blick dominiert ganz klar die Segla.

Got up at 3.30 a.m., already in full action at 3.45 a.m. 😁.
The stars are sparkling in the sky, the lights of the aquacultures are sparkling on the fjord, beautiful, but the view is clearly dominated by the Segla.

Es ist wahrscheinlich DAS Fotomotiv in Köln. Oft fotografiert und so oft gezeigt, dass ich mir lang überlegt habe, ob ich es überhaupt posten soll. Nun ja, Schloss Neuschwanstein hatte ich auch gepostet und es gefiel einigen, also hier, bitte schön, hier mein Köln-Klassiker.
Wer’s nicht kennt: Ich stehe am östlichen Rhein-Ufer, rechts die Hohenzollernbrücke (Eisenbahn), hinten der Kölner Dom. Die „Hohe Domkirche zu Köln“ ist eine der größten gotischen Kathedralen, ihr Bau begann 1248 und endete 1880. Mit einer Höhe von 157 m ist sie die dritthöchste Kirche der Welt. Es gilt als Wunder, dass der Dom im 2. Weltkrieg in der sonst fast komplett ausgebombten Stadt kaum Schäden erlitten hatte. Im Dom befindet sich der Dreikönigenschrein mit den Gebeinen der Heiligen 3 Könige.

It is probably THE photo motif in Cologne. Often photographed and shown so often that I thought long and hard about whether I should even post it. Well, I also posted Neuschwanstein Castle and some people liked it, so here you go, my Cologne classic.
If you don't know it: I'm standing on the eastern bank of the Rhine, the Hohenzollern Bridge (railway) to the right, Cologne Cathedral in the background. The "High Cathedral of Cologne" is one of the largest Gothic cathedrals, its construction began in 1248 and ended in 1880. With a height of 157 m, it is the third highest church in the world. It is considered a miracle that the cathedral suffered hardly any damage in the Second World War in the otherwise almost completely bombed-out city. The cathedral contains the Shrine of the Three Kings with the bones of the Three Wise Men.

Abenddämmerung in Andenes, Andøya Island.
Im Hintergrund sieht man die Boote von "whale2sea", einer von mehreren Walsafari-Anbietern. Ich habe den Tipp bekommen, wenn ich Wale sehen wollte, nicht einen der üblichen Ausflugskutter zu buchen, sondern mit denen rauszufahren. Die haben 4 Schlauchboote für jeweils 12 Passagiere, angetrieben von 2x 500 PS Außenbordmotoren. Man ist so viel näher an den Walen dran und erlebt mehr Action. 145 € kostet der 2,5-stündige Ausflug. Leider habe ich weder die Zeit noch das Geld für solche Unternehmungen, zudem sind die ohnehin für 2-3 Monate ausgebucht.

In the background you can see the boats of "whale2sea", one of several whale safari operators. I was given the tip that if I wanted to see whales, I shouldn't book one of the usual excursion boats, but go out with them. They have 4 inflatable boats for 12 passengers each, powered by 2x 500 HP outboard motors. You are so much closer to the whales and experience more action. The 2.5-hour trip costs €145. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or money for such ventures, and they are booked up for 2-3 months anyway.
