Narnia Window
by Sally Scott,
1991

North aisle, close to the pew where C. S. Lewis usually sat,

A memorial to George and Kathleen Howe, a brother and sister associated with the church, and who died at the ages of 16 and 2 respectively,

The window depicts scenes from Lewis's much-loved Chronicles of Narnia.

It contains Aslan the Lion, the word Narnia, Glimfeather the owl, the flying horse Fledge, the sword, shield, and bottle of cordial from the story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Dawn Treader, the castle, Cair Paravel, Susan's horn and bow with quiver, and talking animals.

The faces of the three children shown in the window were modelled from children who were in the congregation when the window was designed.
