But a few heroic adventurers like this trio find their way to the red dragons lair, a room filled with amassed gold and treasure…
But most as this small band fall when they wade through the gold, the dragon has a keen sense of hearing and even if it sleeping it will instantly awake when her gilded babies are threatened… those few who have returned have come back horrible disfigured and severely bunt, broken in both body and souls, shriveling wrecks drinking away their pain and fear at the local inn while their distorted voices tell the tail of pure horror…
During King Henry’s reign he would often claim that he killed several dragons, a red, a white and a green, but not even the village fool would take anything King Henry said at face value… then Queen Esmeralda and the Mage’s tale of their encounter with this beast is a tad bit more credible…
The mage even claims to have survived a scientific rectal investigation of the ancient drake…
And Barbarian strategist Snook had advanced plants to use the Dragon as a weapon, he planned to disturb it so much that it would rice to the surface and burn down the capital, but he gave up those efforts after loosing about a legion on the strongest Barbarian Warriors…
These three adventurers will end like many before them, dead as a dodo, when Lord Alfrec the brown trips over a golden bucket the ancient female is awoken and three freshly burnt coal lumps will make her company in the darkness…
