ex German Navy diesel-electric submarine U 17 at Technik Museum Speyer in Speyer, Germany.
Right next to Technik Museum Speyer, submarine U 17 is being prepared for transport to Sinsheim. Earlier this year, the class 206 boat had been shipped up the Rhine to Speyer on a pontoon with great media attention. From here, the vessel will be transported to Sinsheim by truck, where it will be on display at the Auto- und Technikmuseum.
