A mating pair of green-veined whites (Pieris napi) on on a deep magenta flower on the oregano (Origanum vulgare) in my mother-in-law's garden.
The female was most definitely in charge here and flew around with the male being carried along backwards. Here she decided she needed a snack to keep going and went for some nectar.
