Captured, on my first evening in Toronto, from my sister's condo.

In spite of the mainly cloudy sky, I was thrilled to be able to capture this special blue supermoon as it appeared above the horizon. Blue Moon refers to the second of two full Moons in a single lunar month. In lunar calendars, a lunar month is the time between two successive syzygies of the same type: new moons or full moons

The Moon will appear bigger and brighter for three days, from Sunday morning through early Wednesday morning! It is the first of four supermoons this year.

Found this one resting within the intertidal zone off Waimea Beach.. along the north shore of Oahu Island, Hawaii. Addendum: Five of the seven global species of sea turtles known to frequent the Hawaiian Islands chain.

It stopped snowing after a night of snow and the sun had come out which was perfect timing ! Luck plays a key part when it comes to timing and perfect conditions. Used my 16-35 but the autofocus has stopped working so it is manual focus from now on :( but it's still a sharp lens.

Humans be wary... gulls no problem!
