We shared everything on this night and this was one of our entrees, which was the lamb şiş. This was delicious.

I'm told by Goo. Translate that шашлычная means "kebab shop." Maybe that's true!

In 1974 Ed Ruscha took a picture that shows the wall before it was covered in stucco (it's at the right edge of the picture, with a billboard structure over it). At that time, the future restaurant was occupied by a porn shop with a movie arcade. Try not to think about jizzmops during dinner!

In 2007 Mr Ruscha took a picture that shows the word ROSES painted on the wall.

According to Goo. Streetview, the Kavkaz sign was installed 2011 or 2012, replacing the sign of an earlier restaurant. "Red and light blue on brownish yellow" was the idea.
