It has been almost thirteen years, to the day, since I stayed at Club Quarters as a working adult to see if I wanted to live in Chicago.

This is reputed to be the best French Toast in Chicagoland. People keep track of this kind of thing, you know.
It was delicious. A little expensive, but worth the splurge.
All day restaurant on the second floor
The J. W. Marriott is the sleek upmarket brand within the Marriotf family of hostelries. In Chicago's Loop, it's located on Adams Street, between La Salle and Wells.
This hotel is essentially where my Chicago adventure as an adult began. I stayed here first at the end of May 2003 while working in the Chicago branch of our office, to see if this was a city to where I'd want to live and work.
It was my first time being in this city since almost fifteen years prior. Chicago won out over a city with a much warmer climate.
