Mercedes Benz eCitaro passing through Paisley while being trialled on service 38 by McGill's. McGill's already operate a large number of diesel Mercedes Benz Citaros and are the first operator in Scotland to trial this electric version. McGill's have already made a substantial investment in electric buses, with a sizeable order of Yutong E12 electric buses in 2020. These are currently in the process of being delivered and are expected to enter service soon.
