I made this macro shot of the inside of a tulip while photographing flowers that Melody had arranged in a vase she keeps on her sewing table in the kitchen of our San Francisco home. Just goes to show you do not have to go far to capture images of beauty. Shot using macro and spot focus on my Canon Powershot SX50.
This is the cropped version of an original image of a bunch of cut tulips that I posted recently. I cloned out the distracting background, only leaving the small flower n the top right background. Original image shot using a Canon Powershot SX50. I used Photoshop Elements 2020 to crop, clone, and brush the area surrounding the two remaining flowers.

Melody made this photo of the inside of a tulip during our visit to Filoli Historic House and Garden on February 2016. We have been members of Filoli for many years and visited regularly before the pandemic started in 2020. Melody shot this using her Canon Powershot SX50.
I made this photo of the inside of a yellow tulip during Melody's and my visit to Queen Wilhelmina Garden on March 20, 2022. March is the beginning of tulip season at the garden located At the northwest corner of Golden Gate Park at the NW corner of San Francisco. This was one of the many images we captured that day using our Canon Powershots SX50.

I made this macro photo of the inside of a tulip that was a potted plant growing in Melody's front yard a few months after we met. Her gardener at the time planted tulips and daffodils for her to see as she left her house in the morning and came back home in the evening. Melody still likes to see flowers growing around her. I captured this image using the Canon Powershot SX30 that I was using in January 2012.

Snapped this in April. I don't crop very many of my shots, but I only took 2 shots ( was in a rush) and this was the best one. Love the beautiful color and thought why not share it! Have a lovely day all :)
