Taco Bell has big plans in the world and the European market has only started slowly with countries such as England, Spain and Finland. The Netherlands currently has 7 restaurants (Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda, Amersfoort, Arnhem, Rotterdam and recently The Hague) and number 8 is currently being prepared in Amsterdam Osdorp. The store officially announced on 13/03/2023. The opening date is not fixed yet, they are still hiring shift managers and crew as we speak.

Taco Bell in Europe
The United Kingdom was the first European country with a Taco Bell. In 1986, a location was opened in London on Coventry Street (between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus) followed by a second location in Earls Court near the Earl's Court tube station. One other store opened in Uxbridge but all closed in the mid-1990s.
In the late 2000s, Yum! Brands announced that it was reopening Taco Bell locations in the United Kingdom as part of a large planned expansion into Europe. As of August 2017, there are 17 Taco Bell branches in the United Kingdom, all of which are in England and outside of London. In March 2023 there are 132 Taco Bell restaurants in the UK.
Spain is the second most important market for Taco Bell inside Europe. There are 124 Taco Bell branches in Spain.
On June 15, 2017, Finnish restaurant company Restel announced that it is bringing Taco Bell to Finland. The first restaurant opened in central Helsinki on 9 November 2017. Restaurants in Sello and Iso Omena malls in Espoo opened later in November 2017.
In the Netherlands the first Taco Bell opened in Eindhoven on 04/04/2017 followed by Tilburg on 12/10/2017 and the third one in Breda on 19/12/2017. After these first three followed Amersfoort, Arnhem, Rotterdam and Den Haag. Amsterdam Osdorp will be number 8 in the Netherlands.

A Combino tram on route 27 reversing in the recently built loop at Osdorpplein in Amsterdam. This loop, replacing an earlier reversing facility, is used during track renewal on the last stretch of the line towards Dijkgraafplein terminus.
