Dringen in de Kinkerstraat

Peak hour scene in the Kinkerstraat in September 1978.
All traffic was not supposed to pull up next to tram. In doing so it was dangerous for passenger to exit and / or enter. A large lorry with searchlight was definitely on the wrong side of the road rules. Also not the bikeriders taking of at the lights. Oddly there are cars queuing behind the tram. © Henk Graalman 9-1968 893+999

Verlaten trams

Due to a motor vehicle accident further down the Kinkerstraat tramservices were stopped on the Da Costakade bridge hence no driver in the drivers seat. Bad light photo, took it as it's normally impossible to take a photo here without other traffic obscuring the subject. Moreover the driver had made an oversight using the destination with line number 25 and not 27. © Henk Graalman 11-68.

Peak hour only rolling stock (3) returning to the depot Lekstraat seemingly with some urgency. Up to March 1968 the 'blue' 4 wheelers' were still in service however any technical issue would see them on a one way trip to the wreckers. © Henk Graalman 1-1968
