Rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in June 1990 from UP 3114, CSXT 8441 leads eastbound time freight L201 through the C&O R2 intermediates at Chaparelle near Pikeville, Ky. The good ole boys on Shelby Shifter R240 went to Harold to dogcatch this train.

HLD5512 van Trainworld is net aangekomen in de bundel aan de oude tractie werkplaats van Steenbrugge , de locomotief zal daar een P8 stoomlocomotief met nr 64.045 en 2 diesellocomotieven met nrs 8441 en 7209 aan de haak slaan en naar het LCI in Brugge rangeren van waar ze op diepladers verder gaan over de weg naar hun nieuwe bewaarplaatsen waar ik geen verdere info ga over geven , binnenkort veel meer foto's van deze uitzonderlijke bewegingen...

Trainworld's HLD5512 just arrived at Steenbrugge where it will pick up a P8 steamlocomotive with nr 64.045 and 2 more diesel locs with nrs 8441 and 7209 , once all are attached to each other , they will be transfered to the LCI of Bruges where they will be loaded on trucks to continue their journey to their new home of which I won't give any further information.
Soon I will post many more photos of these interesting movements...

Westbound UP freight with SD70ACe 8441 on the point, heading towards Stanford Flat. Unit 8441 was built in 2006 and carries EMD serial number 20056725-18. Late afternoon of 18 August 2018.
The crew of CSX J759 rearranges the power of a grain train to prepare for the train's trip south.J759 had little work so they were able to get this task done before they started their normal duties.
CSXT Q567-23 climbs up the grade just after clearing Automatic Block Signal (Auto 15) on the CSX River Line, with two EMD’s and the helm. Leading is an ex-Union Pacific SD40-2, and 2nd out is a rebuilt SD70MACe, #4550.
CSX Q567 races through QR16.0 on CSX’s River Line with EMD SD40-2 #8441 (x-UP #3114), and EMD SD70MACe #4550. Lashups like these are hard to find nowadays.

The CSX SD40-2 leading Norfolk Southern train NLPI (Sydney, IL/UP to Conway) seems to be out of its element as it approaches the position-light signals at Industry on the Cleveland Line in September 1999. Within the next two years, NS would install cab signals on this route and foreign power in the lead would all but vanish.
