Freightliner 'Skoda' pairing of 90014 'Over the Rainbow' and 90040 attack Belstead bank on Saturday 8th March 2025. With blue skies and additional intermodal services running south along the Great Eastern Main Line due to engineering works north of Ipswich, I took the opportunity to visit some of my favourite spots in the Suffolk countryside. Sadly this once popular spot is no longer accessible via foot as can be seen by the vast mound of brambles in the foreground. Note that the recently purchased ex-DB example 90040 was paired with 90014 on this occasion, my first occasion seeing it since its return to mainline service. (Photo taken with drone)
