I admit not one of my better shots I took, 37 427 opens up passing Wellington with I believe an empty stock move from Shrewsbury to Oxley
Seconds later the whole place was covered in thick black smoke
I remember walking back home passing the station at Wellington and hearing a class 37 open up approaching the station. As I had my camera with me, I managed to grab a very quick total uncomposed shot. How I wish I had focused better and included the semaphore signals
My slide copied using my old D200 and LeD light fitting.
1st August 1986
Class50 50035 comes onto the seawall at Teignmouth on 11-8-76
It is early morning as the sun is on the front. I did visit Teignmouth in the glorious summer of 76 but staying in a hotel in Torquay and getting engaged did get in the way of early morning departures.
Part of my collection with photographer unknown. This has taken quite a lot of repair work and may have another go at improving it.

37431 'Sir Powys / County of Powys' departs Barmouth in August 1989.
Originally D6972 becoming 37272 prior to being refurbished.
Cut up at Wigan CRDC in August 2000.
The working is the Pwllheli to London Euston service. I'm assuming this is the afternoon working given the position of the sun.
Another 35mm slide which has been scanned. Purchased from Paul Robertson. Photographer not known.
