Here was the famous Civic Garden in downtown Dallas on a gloomy Saturday in February.

"The trees haven't got enough soil," I complained, "and it's weird and stupid to call this a 'garden.' Shame on Dallas."

Yeah this is a view from the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, out in Waukesha County.

Personally I feel comfortable in these kinds of messed-up landscapes, but I worry that other people will clamor to have the trail's "National Scenic Trail" designation removed when they see this!

My understanding is that the workers haven't touched any of this for several months now. They left midproject what a shame.

Shots taken as part of a Sunday bicycle ride in Boulder county. This is on 75'th Street just north of Arapahoe Road. 75'th is a popular bike route.

I'm pretty sure this farm is inactive and suspect the real-estate developers (natural beauty destroyers) are eying this property for there next raping of the countryside.
