Winternacht auf dem Brocken
Mit einem Freund war ich für zwei Tage im Harz um noch einmal den Winter zu erleben. Der Brocken bietet dazu eine gute Möglichkeit. Am Tag wimmelten hunderte von Menschen über die Bergkuppe. Wenn der letzte Zug abgefahren ist, wird es ruhig. Eine Dampflock zieht die Wagons ins Tal, voll, wie ein Evakuierungszug. Selbst auf den Außenplattformen der Wagons drängen sich die Menschen. Es erinnert an indische Züge.
Winter night on mountain Brocken
With a friend I was for two days in the Harz mountains to experience the winter again. The Brocken offers a good opportunity. During the day hundreds of people swarmed over the hilltop. When the last train has left, it becomes quiet. A steam engine pulls the wagons into the valley, full like an evacuation train. Even on the outer platforms of the wagons people crowd. It looks like a train in India.
