In the autumn of 1994, 4053 carried markings promoting a local dance festival. Here we see it at a very wet Chillingham Road on 15 October 1994.
On 13 April 1997, 4045, in the second refurbished livery, arrives at Chillingham Road. This was a Sunday and at this time single Metrocar workings were standard on Sundays outside the summer season.
