In 2024, Alexandria is celebrating its 275th anniversary. The Arts 275th Commemorative Program Grant is funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Alexandria, VA. The Arts 275th Commemorative Program Grant was established and was available to eligible nonprofit organizations to create art programs and events to honor the past through artistic historical reflections or commissions, embrace the now with thought-provoking art projects mirroring neighborhoods’ culture, and celebrate the city’s future with innovative art projects.
The Chirilagua Neighborhood Arts Day program is made possible through the Arts 275th Commemorative Program Grant from the City of Alexandria, VA through the Office of the Arts. This project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. To find out more about how National Endowment for the Arts grants impact individuals and communities, visit www.arts.gov.
