The sink on the left has a bucket below, the bath tub water heater uses gas with a chimney on top. To fill the tub just turn the tap. A lot of work involved to go keep it all clean and tidy.

Dordrecht: Huis Van Gijn - Interior Photography
Huis Van Gijn is a museum, located in two monumental buildings on the Nieuwe Haven in Dordrecht, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The main building, dating from 1729, was the former home of the namesake, banker and collector Simon van Gijn (1836-1922).
The museum shows what life was like up to a hundred years ago, the various rooms and floors are realistically furnished and decorated with a wide collection of objects from mainly the period in which Simon van Gijn lived in this building. A picture of the times in the interior, the household, the philosophy and the environment of a wealthy Dordrecht resident.

Chr. ein Siedlungsplatz. Das Bier und die Tuchproduktion machten die Stadt im Mittelalter weit über die Grenzen der Mark Brandenburg hinaus bekannt. Die Hexenverfolgungen zwischen 1536 und 1658 führte dazu, dass 25 Frauen und drei Männer wegen angeblicher Zauberei verfolgt, gefoltert und hingerichtet wurden. In Bernau bei Berlin leben auf einer Fläche von 104,2 km² ca. 44 250 Menschen.
