A simpler image from yesterday morning. My ultimate goal is to get jet, train and auto/bus streams in a single shot. This location has potential. But these days, there are fewer jets and trains, so the opportunities are less frequent. The gaps in the jet stream are when I capped the lens. I think in this case I didn't want the bus stream to overtake the composition so I capped the lens as a bus drove by, plus just waiting for activity to record.
Beautiful morning light streaming through the glen at Loch Beinn a Mheadhain in Glen Affric in the Scottish Highlands.
The way the light hit the trees on the shoreline of the loch reminded me of a beam from a torch, and so came about the title I gave to the image. An absolutely stunning location and conditions - ever changing; can't wait to return...

Daisy Nook Country Park
We went to Raasay in search of Calum's Road, so that K and Zale (aka David) could play the fiddle tune Calum's Road on Calum's Road itself. They have been playing the tune together for ~5 years, since K was 7.
We stayed in the Staffin region on the Isle of Skye for 3 nights. We were surrounded by sheep fields (and sheep). We did day trips around the Isle.
We went on a trip to Scotland with our friend Rod and his younger daughter, K. We met up with his older daughter, A, who is going to medical school in St. Andrews and she traveled with us into the highlands.
