In Duluth, MN, plenty of watercraft activity occurs in Canal Park. I had previously uploaded this image, but since I've been improving my edit skills, I wanted to add some different atmosphere to this image.
I really liked the timing for this image, and I keep coming back to adore how amazing that it turned out.
A long-exposure capture of a midnight train rushing past Barkåker on the Vestfold Line. With a 25-second shutter, the scene reveals glowing light trails cutting through the quiet winter night. Snow-covered fields, silhouetted trees, and a sky full of stars frame the moment. Off to the north, a faint green shimmer hints at the presence of the northern lights—rare this far south, yet beautifully present.
