For the MM challenge: "Granules"
Himalayan salt is rock salt (halite) mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt, which often has a pinkish tint due to trace minerals, is primarily used as a food additive to replace refined table salt but is also used for cooking and food presentation, decorative lamps, and spa treatments. Shot here on glass, with a small plastic measuring spoon.

"Bob St. Robert from Channel 3 weather here, and I am talking with Jerry Chapstick and the salt crew from Salt of the Earth Sub-Zero Water Removal Specialists. Jerry, is this a common site here in Wisconsin?"
"Oh, ja, you betcha, Bob! Normally we like to spread an obscene amount of small crystal rock salt, but every now and then one of these beauties sneaks past the goalie, if you know what I mean. Nothin' like gettin' smacked in the windshield with one of these asteroids, eh, Bob?!"
"You heard it here, folks. And don't forget to avoid dark clothing and any automobile exterior for the next several weeks, unless you like salt streaks on your outerwear. Everyone has a white car in January!"

More than 4 years after the end of the classic Köthen station here on Flickr the good old times keep rollin, on 30.04.19 the moring rock salt train with 233 288 broke down near Biendorf, so 232 909-2 got the call for help. On the bridge near the entrance signal of Köthen the double was greeted by a dozen or so railfans.
