La iglesia de Santa María de Cambre en la provincia de La Coruña (Spain), es un bello ejemplo de estilo románico construida a finales del siglo XII y principios del XIII. El edificio consta de tres naves, deambulatorio y una cabecera bien conservada, compuesta por una capilla mayor y varios absidiolos con sencillas pero elegantes ventanas.
La portada occidental contiene tímpano, campanario, rosetón, arcos de herradura y curiosos capiteles, y dentro nos encontramos con una pila con una inscripción del año 1194.

The church of Santa María de Cambre in the province of La Coruña (Spain), is a beautiful example of Romanesque style built at the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. The building consists of three naves, an ambulatory and a well-preserved chancel, composed of a main chapel and several apsidioles with simple but elegant windows.
The western facade contains a tympanum, bell tower, rose window, horseshoe arches and curious capitals, and inside we find a font with an inscription from the year 1194.

el edificio consta de tres naves, y deambulatorio. Es la única iglesia rural de planta basilical con crucero saliente y en ella destaca la cabecera con girola y cinco absidiolos protogóticos.
El interior con robustas columnas, variados y curiosos capiteles, además de abundante decoración escultórica que hacen de la visita un auténtico placer.
Es Monumento Nacional desde el año 1931.

The building consists of three naves and an ambulatory. It is the only rural church with a basilica plan with a projecting transept and the header with ambulatory and five proto-Gothic apsidioles stands out.
The interior with robust columns, varied and curious capitals, as well as abundant sculptural decoration that make the visit a real pleasure.
It has been a National Monument since 1931.
La iglesia de Santa María de Cambre (A Coruña) – Spain, consta de tres naves, dividida en cuatro tramos con grandes pilares, un altar central con deambulatorio y cinco esbeltos absidiolos. La construcción románica está datada en los siglos XII y XIII.
El interior alberga bellos capiteles, aquí vemos uno de ellos, con animales salvajes luchando entre ellos.
Una pila de agua bendita, denominada “Hidria de Jerusalén” en forma de copa, datada en 1194, es digna de contemplar.

The interior houses beautiful capitals, here we see one of them, with wild animals fighting among themselves.
A holy water font, called the “Jerusalem Hydria” in the shape of a cup, dated 1194, is worth seeing.
La sacristie gothique, située entre le croisillon sud et le côté méridional du chœur, est située à la troisième travée du chœur et accessible depuis son déambulatoire par une porte monumentale baroque ornée de marbreries. À l'intérieur, les dosserets sculptés des stalles en bois du XVIe siècle provenant du chœur ont été remontés les longs des parois de la sacristie.
